When you sign up for a free account with one of these
providers, you will be asked to provide a user name and
password. That user name will eventually end up as part
of the complete address for your new Web site on that
hosting service.
Once you've completed building and publishing your
new site, return to www.new.net and click on Manage
My Account. There you can update the part of your record
called "DNS Information." In the case of the services
above, select the option "URL Forwarding" and type in
the exact address you were given by the hosting service.
Within 24 hours, all of the records at New.net
and at your hosting service will be updated so that
you can tell people to use your new address from New.net
to reach your Web site.
Remember, if you have any difficulties in completing
this task, you will find easy instructions in the FAQ
section of our Web site, or you can email us at support@new.net.
